Located in Wichita, Kansas, Ted E. Knopp, Chartered, is a law firm that provides legal representation to clients in the areas of real estate, bankruptcy, and estate planning.  Ted Knopp has over 23 years of legal experience helping clients throughout Western Kansas, including the cities of Derby, Newton, El Dorado, Hutchinson and Salina.

Ted E. Knopp received his B.S degree from Kansas State University. He attended law school at the University of Kansas School of Law, earning his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in 1982.  He was admitted to practice law in the State of Kansas and the U.S. District Court of Kansas that same year.

Mr. Knopp has practicing in Kansas since 1982.  He has worked in large law firms as well as acting as corporate counsel for The Residence Inn Company, Residence Inn by Marriott, Inc., and as local counsel and outside counsel for Marriott Corporation, in hotel development, financing, acquisition, and syndication.  He has been practicing as an individual practitioner for the last 14 years.  

Mr. Knopp is a recognized real estate practitioner and has served on the executive committee of the real estate, probate, and trust law section of the Kansas Bar Association.  He has been a contributing author to Kansas Bar Association handbooks and an adjunct professor at Wichita State University.
