Kevin Cogan is an experienced trial lawyer having represented clients in complex civil litigation in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts throughout the United States. His litigation experience includes corporate control contests and shareholder disputes, securities fraud, insurance coverage disputes, CERCLA claims, real estate controversies, and disputes relating to asset and stock purchase agreements.

Kevin was a member of the defense team representing Cardinal Health in its securities litigation. He successfully defended Buckeye Egg Farm, one of the nation's leading egg producers, in a class action relating to Buckeye Egg's use of beneficial insects to control nuisance insects. He was co-trial counsel in the case of Atlantic Richfield Company, et al. v. Alcan Aluminium Holdings Ltd., an action tried in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. Kevin successfully defended Diagnostic Imaging Associates of Ohio, a central Ohio radiology provider, and its chief executive officer, in an eight-day jury trial against claims of fraud and breach of fiduciary duty. He was the lead trial counsel in a major water rights case challenging the city of Akron's use of the Cuyahoga River.

Kevin served as special counsel to Ohio Attorney General Jim Petro. He is a Franklin County Commissioner appointee to the board of trustees of the Franklin Park Conservatory and serves on the Executive Committee of the Franklin County Republican party.
