Summary
Law Firm Overview
Sue Fox likes to quote brokers who have called her a "deal-maker." She enjoys advising business people, commercial and residential buyers and sellers, and commercial developers, landlords and tenants, working to close their transactions quickly and efficiently. She seeks to protect her clients' rights using strategies which will best serve their objectives, explaining the benefits and risks of various options, and helping them to evaluate the legal aspects of the transaction. Additionally, she counsels licensed brokers on meeting their legal and ethical responsibilities.
Sue has practiced law in Denver since graduating from the University of Denver College of Law in 1976. After clerking for Hon. Zita Weinshienk in both Colorado and U.S. District Courts, and practicing commercial litigation for a number of years, she served as Regional Counsel for CB Commercial Real Estate (now CB Richard Ellis) for 4-1/2 years, giving her a unique view of real estate transactions from the brokers' perspective. Returning to private practice, she became increasingly focused on real estate litigation and then left litigation to concentrate solely on real estate and business transactions. Her previous litigation experience, however, serves her clients well, as she knows how to keep them out of court!
In addition to her individual practice, Sue is "of counsel" to the law firm of Heppenstall, Savage, Trower & Muller, LLC.
