Mr. Simmington was born in St. Louis, Missouri, July 14, 1952. He graduated from the University of Michigan with honors in 1978 and from Wayne State University Law School in 1981. Mr. Simmington maintains memberships in the Genesee County Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan, Michigan Defense Trial Counsel, National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, and serves on the Michigan Public Defense Task Force and the Flint Criminal Justice (CJA) Panel Attorney Program.
