Lawyer Overview

Bill Haft, a partner in the New York office, is a member of the Financial Markets and Corporate groups. Mr. Haft focuses his practice on financial and corporate transactional matters including credit and capital market transactions; structured, asset and bank finance; securities regulation and commercial law; mergers and acquisitions; joint ventures; and international business transactions and restructurings. Mr. Haft represents a variety of financial institutions and corporations, particularly in corporate and bank finance, credit and capital markets and cross-border transactions. He has extensive experience with French and other European based businesses, and is a key member of Orrick’s European practice. Before joining Orrick, Mr. Haft was a partner in the New York office of Watson, Farley & Williams from 1996 to 2002. Prior to that, Mr. Haft worked in the New York and Paris offices of White & Case from 1986 to 1995.
