Lawyer Overview

Kathleen Nastri is the most recent addition to the KK&B legal team. She specializes in medical malpractice, personal injury and other complex cases.

In June 2003, Kathleen was elected president of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers' Association (CTLA). She had been the organization's vice president and treasurer. In addition, she is co-chair of the CTLA's Continuing Legal Education Committee and is Editor of the "Verdict and Settlements" column of CTLA Forum Magazine.

Before joining KK&B, Kathleen, a Cheshire resident, had been head of the Plaintiff's Personal Injury Practice Group at the Waterbury-based law firm, Carmody & Torrance, where she began his assisting clients in 1986. She is a cum laude graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Law. Her undergraduate degree also is from the University of Connecticut.

She is admitted to practice at the U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut, U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as in Connecticut state courts.

Kathleen is a Fellow, Connecticut Bar Foundation and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
