Pat graduated summa cum laude and first in his law school class at Gonzaga University School of Law in 1986. He received a B.A. degree in Political Science from the University of California in 1971. Prior to joining  Ewing Anderson , P.S. in 1988, Pat was a law clerk for Judge Philip Thompson at the Washington State Court of Appeals, Division III.

Pat's law practice includes all areas of litigation, with emphasis on personal injury, product liability, and insurance law.

Pat is a member of both the Washington and Idaho Bar Associations, and the Washington State Trial Lawyer's Association. He has served as a Board member of Idaho Legal Aid Services.

In addition to his state court practice, he is admitted to practice in the federal courts for the Eastern District of Washington and the District of Idaho.
