Scheinthal & Kouts, LLP is a two-attorney Houston area firm engaged in finding and executing practical, cost-effective solutions.  Both Mr. Scheinthal and Mr. Kouts have extensive experience in handling a variety of business and real estate related matters, including collections, buy/sale transactions, landlord/tenant issues, business and real estate disputes and litigation, creditor rights in bankruptcy, and a range of other matters such as probate, construction law and appellate work.

We have both chosen to practice in an intimate setting rather than the layered organizational structure found in most of the larger law firms.  You will know who you are dealing with at our firm and you will communicate with the attorneys who are actually in charge of your case rather than support staff and associates.  We do not presume to know better than our clients.  We make it a point to listen to our clients, to get to know the issues that are most important to them, and to keep them informed and engaged in the management of their transaction or suit.
