Lawyer Overview

Attorney Roger C. Plichta founded the law firm over twenty-two years ago. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the University of Minnesota and Doctor of Jurisprudence (cum laude) in law in Georgia. He was appointed assistant to the Regional Commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service. Upon completion of graduate school, he was awarded a special direct Presidential Military Commission as a lieutenant in the United States Army by President Lyndon Johnson. Highlight of his professional career, as an attorney, was being appointed Judge in the State Magistrate Court. He had the privilege of practicing law with the former Federal United States Attorney, who is presently U.S. Congressman. He holds memberships in the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association of America, Honorary Military Commanders' Association, was commissioned a Kentucky Colonel, is a member of International Rotary and was named Honorary Aide-de-Camp by Georgia's Governors. He has been a guest speaker throughout the United States, including legal education programs instructing other fellow attorneys. He has appeared in publications including, The Atlanta Journal Constitution, The Atlanta Business Chronicle, and Peachtree Magazine. Mr. Plichta was selected as the legal commentator on the informative television program PM Magazine, and has been a guest on national and international TV including C-SPAN, German, Irish, and British television networks and NBC's The Today Show.
