Founded in 1978, Hill, Adams, Hall & Schieffelin, P.A. is a litigation law firm concentrating in the defense of health care providers. In addition to providing medical malpractice defense to clients throughout the state of Florida, we take great pride in defending health care providers and we have never represented a Plaintiff in a medical malpractice case. We also counsel our health care clients in a variety of other matters including antitrust, medical staff disputes, patient confidentiality, withdrawal of life support, sentinel event reporting, HIPAA, and civil rights. The firm also represents health care providers before the various regulatory and licensing boards.

By putting a priority on providing excellent service and results, we have retained the majoriy of our clients for more than a decade including self-insured government hospitals, independent hospitals and large health systems. Our philosophy is to provide aggressive and cost effective representation in all stages of litigation.

Over the past 29 years, we have defended health care providers in nearly 2,500 medical malpractice cases, often involving major trials. We handle a wide range of cases from general liability and health care claims to wrongful death or multiple party catastrophic injury claims. Nowhere is the depth of our experience more evident than in the number of our reported appellate cases.

Our attorneys regularly conduct seminars and mock trials to educate health care professionals on medical staff affairs, risk management training and certification, the legal process and the legal implications of AIDS.
