I'm Barry Seidel, a lawyer in Queens representing people throughout New York City Metropolitan Area in legal matters related to probate and estate administration.

I am a general practice lawyer who focuses on probate and estate administration. These are situations where someone has died, and their estate needs to be resolved. Sometimes the person who died has a will, and sometimes they don't. Either way, there are legal things that need to be done. All these things are part of "probate and estate administration." Many times there are related legal issues which must be handled, things like real estate, businesses, contracts, wrongful deaths from accidents, and many more. Working on an estate starts with getting someone appointed to represent the estate (an Executor or Administrator), but each individual case takes its own course.

In my over 25 years as an attorney, I've worked on every kind of legal case you can imagine. An estate often needs representation to finish up its business. I pride myself on giving my clients personal service and creative solutions. I can think outside the box if the situation warrants it. I treat people with respect and listen very carefully to their problems. Then I work very hard to create practical, efficient solutions.

In addition to handling a variety of probate and estate matters for my clients, I can also provide a referral if their legal needs extend past the scope of my practice. I have worked with and been up against numerous lawyers throughout the state and am able to recommend appropriate counsel for my clients based upon reputation and experience.
