In 1995, Mr. Gerash left the public realm to join his renowned father, Walter L. Gerash in private practice specializing in personal injury and criminal defense. After six years as a partner with his father, he left the firm and began his own law practice with his wife, Karen M. Gerash, a specialist in Appellate Advocacy. He continues to associate with his father on select cases. He received his B.A. degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder in psychology and his J.D. degree from the University of Colorado, School of Law. He is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, the Denver Bar Association, Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, the American Trial Lawyer's Association, and the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar. He has been chosen in 2006, 2007, and 2009 for Best Lawyers in America.
