Lawyer Overview

Mr. Miller is a shareholder in our Business Services and Tax Planning Group. In his practice, he provides guidance to a variety of clients from start-up ventures to larger, more established businesses. He has significant experience in the following areas:

• Business formation, including choice of entity issues
• Family owned and operated businesses (including transition from one generation to the next)
• Start-up businesses, including emerging technology ventures
• Professional practices, especially physicians
• Commercial real estate transactions

Prior to joining Joseph, Greenwald & Laake, P.A. Mr. Miller was a tax associate with the international accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand. He presently sits on the Board of Directors of several prominent local Corporations. Mr. Miller is licensed to practice law in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
