Lawyer Overview

Barbara’s practice focuses on workers’ compensation, professional liability, products liability, and general litigation. Named one of the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers for 2006 by Philadelphia Magazine, Barbara co-authored and co-presented of the PBI Workers’ Compensation Practice ? Procedures manual and course in 2006, 2004, 2002 and 2000. Her civil litigation experience includes representing:

• Manufacturers of motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, and other products
• A variety of professionals, including psychiatrists and veterinarians
• Clients in will contest actions including allegations of undue influence and lack of mental capacity.

Barbara earned her degrees at Pennsylvania State University and The Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University. Active in The Bar Association, she was the first woman elected president of the Northampton County Bar Association. Currently, Barbara is vice-chair of the PBA’s Workers’ Compensation Law Section.

Always willing to try something new, Barbara won a bet with Matt at the firm picnic that enabled her to drive his Boxster for awhile. You might want to ask her about that.

Barbara is an active community volunteer. She has served on the boards and has been president of numerous charitable organizations, including Quota International of Bethlehem; YWCA of Bethlehem; Family ? Counseling Services of the Lehigh Valley; Northampton County Homemaker and Health Aide Service; and Girls, Inc. of Bethlehem.
