He received his undergraduate education from The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina in Charleston in 1951. He entered law school, and graduated from Wake Forest University in 1956. He was a JAG officer in the Air Force Reserve for over 30 years, retiring with the rank of full colonel. He has been representing clients, and serving his community for 50 years.

John Alexander Hauser attended University of North Carolina at Chaper Hill and graduated in 1984. He went on to the North Carolina School of Law graduating in 1987. He and his partner attorney Mills, understand their community and its people well, as they have worked exclusively in the area their entire professional careers.
