Bob Canala practices in the area of litigation and intellectual property law, including patent, trademark, unfair competition, trade secret misappropriation, and covenants not to compete. Bob has considerable experience in all aspects of jury and nonjury matters before state and federal courts, as well as considerable experience in drafting employment agreements and patent clearance opinions and in negotiating and drafting patent licenses, joint technology development agreements, and technology transfer agreements.

Bob's recent representations include: Campbell Hausfeld/Scott Fetzer Company, Dana Corporation, The Procter & Gamble Company, and SanDisk Corporation in patent infringement litigation; First American Title, The Lincoln Electric Company, National City Corporation, and UCA Holdings in matters relating to covenants not to compete and the misappropriation of trade secrets; and Weir Minerals Australia and Weir Slurry Group in trade dress infringement.
