Ann Thornburg Weiss has been with Timoney Knox since 1984. Prior to joining Timoney Knox, she served as law clerk to The Honorable Donald E. Wieand, Judge of the Pennsylvania Superior Court in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The focus of Ms. Weiss' practice is on municipal law and real estate, including zoning and land development, as well as civil litigation and appellate work.
Ms. Weiss presently serves as Solicitor for Perkasie Borough in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. She has provided legal services for many other municipal clients and as special counsel for several southeastern Pennsylvania municipalities and municipal authorities in major litigation matters. She was one of the attorneys representing the North Penn and North Wales Water authorities, prevailing parties in the Point Pleasant Water Diversion Project (the Pump) contract and environmental litigation. She also represents private clients in zoning and land development matters and in contract disputes.
Ms. Weiss serves on the Board of Directors of the Ambler Community Ambulance Association. She was a member of the Upper Dublin Township Board of Commissioners from 2002 through 2007 and was on the Council of Upper Dublin Lutheran Church, Ambler, Pennsylvania from 1999 to 2004, serving as Council President in 2002.
Ms. Weiss graduated magna cum laude with honors in political science from Gettysburg College, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, and earned her law degree from Temple University School of Law, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1980.
