Hilda Galvan focuses on intellectual property litigation, chiefly patent litigation. Hilda has litigated complex, high-stakes patent infringement cases in a myriad of technologies, including semiconductor equipment and processes, telecommunications, computer technology, software and internet applications, and analog and digital circuit design.

Hilda has successfully represented some of the leading technology companies in the world in some of their most important and challenging intellectual property matters. She successfully represented IBM in its patent enforcement lawsuits against Amazon.com and Mattel in its defense of a misappropriation and unfair competition lawsuit. She is currently defending Sercel in a patent infringement case involving seismic data acquisition equipment.

Hilda has repeatedly been ranked and selected by numerous publications, including The Best Lawyers in America (2006 to present) and Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business (2004 to present), as one of the top intellectual property litigators in Texas. Chamber's 2008 singled out Hilda's reputation as an "excellent litigator" and her "strength in technical matters." She is a board member for Junior Players, the oldest children's theater in Dallas, and has served on the board of directors for the Center for Non-Profit Management and for the Dallas Bar Association's Intellectual Property Section, and the executive committee of the Institute of Law and Technology, Center for American and International Law. She also served as treasurer, director, and scholarship committee chair for the Dallas Hispanic Bar Foundation and as special counsel to the city of Coppell. Hilda has lectured on a diverse range of intellectual property and litigation issues.
