Law Firm Overview

Mertz, Bledsaw and Benson P.S.C. traces its beginnings to 1994 when Richard J. Chadwick moved his offices to the American Bank Building in Chanhassen, MN. Prior to that Mr. Chadwick had been 20 year senior partner and a founding member of the firm of Chadwick, Johnson and Condon, in Edina, MN.

In 1995 Craig Mertz joined Richard Chadwick, moving his offices from downtown Minneapolis, where he had been a partner in the finn of Wurst, Pearson, Larson, Underwood, and Mertz. The new firm came to be known as Chadwick and Mertz, P.S.C.

Lynette Bledsaw joined the firm in 1999, having come to us from Detroit, ML, where she was a partner in the firm of O'Neal O. Wright & Associates, P.C. Larry Gansen joined the firm Of Counsel in 2000, having come to us with more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry.

Marcia Rowland joined the firm Of Counsel in 2004, having come to us from the Minnetonka firm of Stanke and Green. Ms. Rowland formerly served as the County Attorney of Carver County, MN, where she acted as chief legal advisor and prosecutor for the county government.
