David has devoted most of his legal career to the defense of professional liability cases and the handling of insurance coverage matters including liability, health and life insurance policies. Presently, his focus is the analysis and litigation of liability insurance issues. In the professional liability area, his concentration has been the representation of attorneys and insurance agents, while also handling suits against investment advisors, real estate agents and appraisers, travel agents and other professionals. He has represented many leading errors and omissions carriers on behalf of both the insurer and its insureds, and has tried legal malpractice cases in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Ohio. He also tried one of the country's first environmental insurance coverage suits.
