JOHN C. ANDRADE joined Parkowski, Guerke & Swayze, P.A. in 1987 and is a Director concentrating his practice in the areas of product liability, environmental law, intellectual property and civil litigation. Prior to joining Parkowski, Guerke & Swayze, Mr. Andrade was an attorney for the Dupont Company for 8 years, concentrating on products liability and intellectual property. Mr. Andrade is admitted to practice in Delaware and Connecticut and before the Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Andrade is a past president of the Kent County Bar Association and currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Delaware State Bar Association. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the American Intellectual Property Law Association.

Mr. Andrade graduated from the University of Connecticut with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering in 1973, an M.B.A. from the University of Delaware in 1978 and a J.D. summa cum laude from Widener University School of Law in 1978, where he was an associate editor of the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law.

He is an adjunct professor at Widener University School of Law teaching products liability law for the last 5 years.
