Sharla Fuller was selected one of the Top 50 Women Attorneys in Texas in 2005 and has been on the list of Texas Super Lawyers published by Thomson Reuters and featured in Texas Monthly magazine (2003-2007).

She is also a prolific author, having teamed with KoonsFuller CEO and Managing Partner Ike Vanden Eykel to write Lone Star Divorce, which was published in 2008.

She began her legal career in East Texas before joining KoonsFuller in 2000. She worked for the law firm of Wynne & Wynne in her home town of Wills Point, handling family law litigation and counseling from 1994 through 2000, and serving as president of the Van Zandt County Bar Association.

Ms. Fuller was born in 1967, graduated valedictorian of her high school class, earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Texas at Arlington (1990, ranked first in her class), and attended graduate business courses at Southern Methodist University.

She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law (1993), where she interned for Texas Supreme Court Justice Jack Hightower and was a research assistant for UT law professor Robert W. Hamilton.

She is a member of the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists, the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, and the Family Law Section of the Dallas Bar Association, and is admitted to practice before the U. S. District Courts for the Eastern and Northern Districts of Texas.

Ms. Fuller is married to firm partner Kevin R. Fuller and is the mother of two sons, Cody and Casey.
