Monica M. Cruz Overview

Having previously served in the Child Support Litigation Division of the Texas Attorney General's Office, Monica Cruz holds a specific expertise in cases involving children's issues and frequently assists clients involved in custody and support disputes.

Her work extends to all Family Law matters, helping her to twice earn honors on the Texas Rising Stars listing published by Thomson Reuters, Legal Division. A member of the Collaborative Professionals of Dallas, Monica's practice is also open to the use of mediation and collaborative law options. In 2011, she began serving a three-year term on the State Bar of Texas District 1 Grievance Committee.

Monica is a 2005 graduate of the Texas Tech University School of Law. She earned her Bachelor's Degree from Texas Tech in 1999, and participated in the Study Abroad Program, attending the University of Guanajuato's Summer Law Institute in 2003.  Monica is fluent in Spanish.
