M. Jannifer Weiss Overview

Like her siblings, M. Jannifer Weiss (Jan) was raised in Lebanon, PA.   She was graduated from Dana Hall School in 1971, University of Colorado in 1975, and Dickinson School of Law in 1983.  While in law school, she received numerous awards related to her litigation and trial skills:  Captain, National Trial Moot Court Team; Member, Order of the Barristers; Recipient, International Academy of Trial Lawyers Award for Distinguished Achievement in Advocacy.

From 1985 - 2005, she was an Advocacy Fellow, Adjunct Professor of Law at Dickinson School of Law teaching trial skills and techniques to 3^rd year law students.  In 1994, she had the honor of being asked by the U.S. Department of State, in conjunction with the American Bar Association and the Central and Eastern European Law Initiative (CEELI), to travel to Russia and teach Russian lawyers specific skills and techniques utilized in jury trials.    

Following her graduation from law school, she joined her father, brother and sister in the practice of law in the family's law firm.  She is admitted to practice in all the courts of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court, Middle District, and the U.S. Supreme Court. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, as well as the Lebanon County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations.

At Weiss, Weiss & Weiss, her practice is focused on civil litigation, with an emphasis on negligence cases resulting in serious injuries and death.
