Kevin P. Podlaski Overview

Kevin is a trial attorney and litigation manager. His practice areas include commercial litigation, insurance defense, product liability, premises liability, and government contracting and litigation. He has appeared as retained counsel and first chair in hundreds of civil matters, and he has tried over 300 fully or partly contested trials before juries / judges during his career. He has successfully represented clients in premises liability, automobile negligence, product liability, federal and state government regulatory and statutory issues and commercial / business litigation. He represented Wal-Mart for 9 years.

Kevin is a disabled U.S. veteran of foreign wars. He had served with the U.S. Army as a Judge Advocate and in 2004 transitioned to the private practice of civil law when he retired from the military. While on active duty Kevin had been the litigation manager for up to 25 trial attorneys handling criminal, employment, federal tort, property damage and medical negligence matters or claims. Kevin's leadership and management skills were recognized as among the most efficient and effective during his tenure with the U.S. Army. His military career culminated with his assignment as the Staff Judge Advocate for Special Operations Command South (Airborne) and his nomination for the Major General William F. Garrison Award for Legal Excellence in Special Operations.
