Joseph Klest Overview

I grew up in the City of Chicago, son of a Chicago Public School teacher in a family of seven.

Working my way through college and law school, I worked in various construction fields and was a proud member of the Illinois Brotherhood of Electric Workers.

I began my law school career working in the office of an Illinois attorney who obtained the first verdict in excess of $1,000,000. Since I began my practice in 1982, I have concentrated in representing individuals who have suffered personal injuries and I have had many significant successes. I have tried hundreds of cases and have resolved thousands of cases to the satisfaction of my clients.

I have handled many cases valued in seven figures - most recently, I settled a medical malpractice case involving kidney failure resulting in a recovery of $3,215,000.00 which is the highest settlement for kidney failure in Illinois involving kidney failure of a homemaker.

I have been practicing law in Illinois for twenty years. I began my practice with a firm on LaSalle Street that handled exclusively injury cases, and have been concentrating my practice and representing people who have suffered injuries due to the fault of others.

When you contact my office you will deal directly with me. You will not be shuffled off to an unexperienced associate. My goal is to provide you with the best legal services available along with personal attention that allows me to tailor the remedies to your needs.

Please feel free to contact me either by phone or this e-mail. I will do all that I can to provide you with the information you need to make an intelligent decision about your options. When you contact me you will never be pressured, and I will do my best to work with you to make the right choices. There is no charge for preliminary consultations. Any case I accept will be handled on a contingency fee basis. If there is no recovery, there is no fee.

My cases have been featured on every local television station and every local newspaper in the Chicagoland area as well as in the National Law Journal. Please contact me to see if I am the right attorney to help you.
