Jim earned his BA in English from the University of Northern Iowa in 1993 and his JD from the University of Iowa School of Law in 1996. For the last 15 years, he has been practicing law in Franklin County, where he resides with his wife Amy and their 2 sons. Jim handles all types of litigation, including contract and business disputes, personal injury cases and estate disputes. He is also experienced in alternative methods of resolution, such as arbitration and mediation. Jim has successfully handled multi-million dollar cases and has successfully tried various high-profile cases. He is a board member and past president of Waynesboro Rotary Club and Mainstreet Waynesboro, Inc. He is an active member of the Presbyterian Church of Waynesboro, where he teaches various classes and is an ordained Elder. He also serves on the boards of other organizations including, the Waynesboro YMCA, Joy El Ministries, and the great Waynesboro Chamber of Commerce. Jim has also served as an instructor of Criminal Justice at Pennsylvania State University, Mont Alto campus.
