Irwin I. Weitz joined Denner Pellegrino, LLP in 2010 bringing with him 40 years of diverse legal experience including that of senior partner in a well-respected Springfield law firm.

Irwin's major areas of practice have included business negotiations and acquisitions and civil litigation in predominantly family and business law. Attorney Weitz has focused his practice on diverse business acquisitions requiring negotiations with lenders, state agencies and appearances before local, state and federal regulatory boards. Formation of various business entities including corporations both business and professional, limited liability corporations, partnerships both limited and general and business trusts are a major part of his practice. Irwin served as counsel to the condominium developer in the Town of Longmeadow participating in Town Bylaw changes facilitating the allowance of residential condominiums for the conversion of Converse Street Elementary School to Converse Street Condominiums. This was the first such project in the Town of Longmeadow.

Mr. Weitz continues to practice family law in counties from Worcester to Greenfield. His practice includes divorce, child support, division of assets and discovery issues as well as new complex areas of computer discovery. He has also served as a court appointed mediator in the Hampden County Probate Court.

Irwin received his law degree from the George Washington University Law Center in Washington, D.C. and his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from American International College. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar and the Hampden County Bar Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
