Guy C. Crowgey Overview

Guy C. Crowgey was born in Charlottesville, Virginia and raised in Roanoke, Virginia. He received his bachelor's degree in 1983, law degree in 1986 from the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond, and masters of laws in taxation in 1987 from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William & Mary. He worked as a staff associate with the law firm of Hirschler Fleischer, and as a principal with the law firm of Ayers, Crowgey & Stolte. He served as Special Counsel to the Division of Legislative Services for the Senate Finance Committee of the Virginia State Senate in the 1994 general and special sessions. He was a principal in the law firm of Eck, Collins & Marstiller Affiliated Law Office before forming the law firm of Crowgey, Grossman & Cassis in 2003. He is a member of the Virginia State Bar Council and the Board of Governors of the Virginia State Bar Tax Committee. Mr. Crowgey's practice is concentrated in federal and state tax law, corporate law, commercial litigation, estate planning and lobbying, and he also handles federal and state criminal tax fraud cases.
