Frederick L. Berry Overview
Fred's practice focuses on representing plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury claims, including automobile and tractor-trailer accidents, construction accidents and some types of medical malpractice. Some of Fred's recent cases include:
- Obtaining a significant workers compensation recovery for a client who lost a leg in an industrial accident;

Fred is an active and respected member of the local legal community. He is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and the Greensboro Bar Association, serving on the Greensboro Association's Board of Directors from 2008-09. He currently works on the steering committee of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice Commercial Litigation section. Fred earned his law degree from Wake Forest University in 1981, and received a BA in Economics from Wake Forest in 1978.

He has served on the Bryan Family YMCA board of management since 2005, and is a board member of the Bethany Community Charter Middle School Foundation in Rockingham County.
Away from the office, Fred is an avid outdoorsman. An "English Style” fox hunting enthusiast, he maintains horses and a pack of 40 foxhounds on his farm in Rockingham County, NC, and hunts foxes and coyotes in the northern Piedmont of North Carolina and southern Virginia.
