Catherine E. Timilty Overview

For me, from the moment I decided to go to law school, it was really about using the law to attempt to make people's lives better, to give a voice to those who would not otherwise have one.  The court system can be tricky to navigate, and it can be intimidating.  I see it as my job to help my clients get through the process and make it less scary.  I love the law, and I'm as comfortable in front of a jury as I am behind my desk.

Right out of law school, I went to work at the Senior Citizen Law Project with the Legal Aid Service of Broward County.  It was rewarding but exhausting work, and in 2001, I moved to the Pinellas County area to be closer to family.  Since then, I have practiced in various areas of civil litigation.  I truly enjoy trial and litigation work.  I've been working as a litigation associate with Charles Scully for a little over three years, and nothing brings be greater joy than securing a jury verdict for my clients.  

 When I'm not at work, I spend most of my time being a Mom to my beautiful baby girl. Time with family is my number one priority away from the office. Whether it's at home, or enjoying the beautiful weather and things to do around Tampa Bay.
