Brian Y. Furuya Overview
Brian Y. Furuya was born and raised in Los Angeles County, California, but is now privileged to call Flagstaff his home. Mr. Furuya began work with Aspey, Watkins & Diesel, P.L.L.C. as a law clerk in 2006 and joined the law firm as an attorney in 2007. He has also clerked with Hon. Lynn W. Davis, district judge for the 4th Judicial District of Utah, as well as with the United States Attorney's Office in Salt Lake City. In law school, Mr. Furuya was Managing Editor of Articles for the Brigham Young University Journal of Public Law, and authored an article appearing in that publication. In addition to his work with AWD, he served as an adjunct professor of law with the J. Reuben Clark Law School from 2007-2010, helping teach legal interviewing & counseling theory and technique.
