Mr. Livens has authored three books on estate planning and elder law: "Generations: Planning Your Legacy"; "Ways and Means -- Understanding Retirement Plans"; and "Love, Money and Control". Further, Fort Worth, Texas magazine listed him as one of the top estate planning attorneys in the DFW area.

Our law firm employs three former Medicaid caseworkers. They bring a combined total of 50 years of valuable experience dealing with Medicaid and governmental benefits. Last year, our law firm completed hundreds of Medicaid and VA applications, and we had a 100 percent success rate. In 2009, Mr. Livens taught over 200 social workers and nursing home staff members about Medicaid qualifications through continuing education courses. Further, he is an accredited attorney for VA benefits.
