Attorney Brian Williams, in Spring, Texas, represents clients throughout the Houston metropolitan area with their family law and bankruptcy needs.

Unlike some law firms, Brian D. Williams, Attorney at Law, is intensely focused on helping real people to solve real problems. Attorney Williams has practiced for more than 35 years as a lawyer, and he uses that experience to help his clients to resolve their legal issues.

The firm's family law practice includes divorce, modifications and enforcement, child custody and child support.  He also advises and represents indebted individuals and small-business owners in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings.

In 2002, Mr. Williams was invited to membership in the College of the State Bar, a privilege open to only a small percentage of Texas attorneys. Membership in the College of the State Bar recognizes the dedication by the attorney to continuing education far beyond the minimum requirements of the State Bar. He has been admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Texas, the United States Tax Court, the United States District Courts for the Southern District of Texas and the Northern District of Ohio, and the Supreme Court of the United States. He is also a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Houston Bar Association and the Houston Northwest Bar Association.

As a solo practitioner, attorney Williams takes the time to personally meet with and listen to his clients. He is assisted in his office by his wife, Linda Williams, a registered nurse with a background in psychiatric nursing as well as a background in the legal system working in the courts and law offices. Together, they provide a soothing and friendly office atmosphere, where clients can relax and unburden themselves regarding their legal issues.

Retain Brian D. Williams, Attorney at Law, and we will listen to your concerns, advise you of a sound legal strategy, and communicate clearly and promptly regarding developments in your case.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:
Comfort Level - Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
Credentials - How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
Cost - How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
City - Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?
