In 2009, Baron and Budd attorneys achieved a $20 million win on appeal for a California asbestos cancer patient and her family. And in 2011, one of the firm's shareholders convinced the California Court of Appeals to reverse a summary judgment in favor of asbestos defendant Kaiser Gypsum and sent the case back to trial.
