Located in St. George, Utah, Fisher & Hunter was founded by attorneys Nathan Fisher and David Hunter. Together with a team of associate attorneys, our founders are dedicated to achieving the best possible results for clients in Washington County and throughout southern Utah.

Some of our clients are individuals or businesses that have interests in Utah, but are based elsewhere. We can accommodate their needs. Attorneys at Fisher & Hunter are licensed to handle legal matters in Utah, Nevada, Arizona and California.

At Fisher & Hunter, we understand the stress that legal challenges can bring, and we will do everything in our power to achieve the best possible results for you. In legal matters, it is sometimes necessary to take aggressive action in order to protect a client's interests. Our lawyers have the capacity to act aggressively when necessary.

However, we believe that aggressive tactics are not always the best course of action. We also pursue other options: negotiating with other attorneys, seeking resolution through arbitration or mediation, or pursuing other alternative dispute resolution techniques. We find that these options often bring about resolutions more quickly and cost-effectively.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:
Comfort Level - Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
Credentials - How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
Cost - How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
City - Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?
