When families in Indiana face important immigration issues, Moreno & Villarrubia LLP provides practical legal advice and caring client service. Based in Indianapolis, our law firm helps individuals throughout the state and nationwide to navigate the complex system of immigration laws and obtain their legal goals.

A native of Puerto Rico, attorney Tabitha Villarrubia understands firsthand the impact that immigration matters have on families and treats all clients with the compassion they need. In addition, when you work with our firm, you will be able to speak directly to a lawyer who is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Our immigration services include:

Family-based immigration services: Our law firm understands the importance of your immigration status in the United States and the need to keep your family together. We work with clients in the areas of family petitions, spouse petitions, adjustment of status, fiancé visas, permanent residence, green cards, consular processing, temporary protected status, VAWA petitions and waivers.

Other types of immigration services: We also can help you with nonfamily immigration issues such as U Visas, student visas, visitor visas, asylum, naturalization and citizenship, and removal/deportation defense.

A special note on the Dreamers' Policy: In summer of 2012, President Barack Obama implemented a new immigration policy called the DREAM Act. This policy allows for certain individuals who were brought into the country illegally as children to apply for deportation protection. These individuals must have entered the United States before they were 16 years of age, and currently be between the ages of 15 and 30. Other requirements apply. At Moreno & Villarrubia LLP, we have already consulted with numerous clients on this exciting new policy and can also help you to understand your options under this act.

We invite you to contact our law firm for a confidential and no-obligation meeting. You will discuss your immigration matter directly with attorney Villarrubia, and she will explain your legal rights and options for proceeding.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:
Comfort Level - Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
Credentials - How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
Cost - How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
City - Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?
