Rocky Wilkins Personal Injury Law, PLLC, was established in Jackson, Mississippi on September 1, 2003. The firm focuses primarily on personal injury, automobile accidents, 18-wheeler accidents, negligent security cases, and wrongful death.

Since graduating law school in 1999, Rocky Wilkins has had a substantial involvement in litigation arising from major catastrophes. In 2000, at the age of twenty-seven, Wilkins became the youngest partner of Pritchard Law Firm, PLLC. In just three years, Wilkins and the Pritchard Law Firm recovered millions of dollars for clients injured in 18-wheeler accidents, pharmaceutical cases, insurance fraud cases and negligent security cases.

Rocky Wilkins has also tried several high profile cases, including Belle v. Foremost Insurance Company in October 2002, when he helped recover a $300,000.00 jury verdict. In 2003, Wilkins was lead trial counsel in Virgie Hardy v. Bayer Corporation, and Billy Ray Slaughter v Bayer Corporation, which were the second and third Baycol cases tried in the nation. Wilkins was actively involved in litigation involving the May 16, 2002, Rouse Polymerics explosion in Vicksburg, Mississippi, that killed five innocent people. He also won aquittals for his clients in State v. Michael Bridges and U.S. v. Gerrick Watson.

“With my hands-on experience in taking cases to trial, I will personally see my clients’ lawsuits through from start to finish,” said Wilkins. “Rocky Wilkins Personal Injury Law is committed to moving cases swiftly through the court system.”

Wilkins graduated from the University Of Mississippi School Of Law in 1999. He practiced with Daniel, Coker, Horton & Bell in Jackson in their products liability defense division from 1999-2000. Rocky is also the co-host of Law Call and has appeared on Court TV.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:
Comfort Level - Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
Credentials - How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
Cost - How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
City - Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?
