Our Practice

Bankruptcy:

In his years of practice, attorney Bruner has served as a trustee in the bankruptcy court and has been the chair of a creditors' committee.  He has a comprehensive understanding of how the bankruptcy process works and knows how to minimize any impediments to completing the bankruptcy process.

Attorney Bruner works directly with you, with the bankruptcy trustee and with the court.  We will prepare and file all documents required throughout the bankruptcy process and will represent you in any hearings or other proceedings with creditors, the trustee or the court.

We handle all matters related to bankruptcy filings for individuals and business owners, including filings under Chapter 7, Chapter 13, and Chapter 11. We will help you determine whether you qualify to discharge your debt under Chapter 7, or whether your recourse is the reorganization of your debt. If you qualify for protection under Chapter 7, we will help you understand which debts can be discharged, as well as which assets you can exclude from sale. In reorganization proceedings, we will be your advocate in all dealings with creditors, the trustee and the court, helping you put together a reorganization plan that is within your means.

Probate and Estate Administration:

Attorney Bruner knows that losing a loved one is difficult, no matter when or how it happens.  The first thing on your mind is taking care of your family, but you will also have to take care of the assets and property left behind by your loved one. 

Whether your loved one left behind a comprehensive estate plan or no will at all, you want to make sure their assets are distributed properly and that their wishes are honored.
