Information About the Firm       

The Law Firm of Gerald R. Lykins, P.L.C. is a single Member Limited Liability Corporation established by Gerald R. Lykins, Attorney at Law. Gerald, more commonly referred to as Jerry, was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. He received his Juris Doctorate from Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio in 1994. Jerry is licensed to practice law in three states, Michigan, Kentucky, and Ohio. Jerry practiced as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for three years prior to establishing his Law Firm. Jerry worked for two years with the Jefferson County Commonwealth's Attorney's Office in Louisville, Kentucky. He also worked for one year with the Kent County Prosecutor's Office in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Jerry has successfully completed courses in Drunk Driving, Trial Advocacy, and Career Prosecuting. Currently, Jerry is a member of the Grand Rapids Bar Association, Young Lawyer's Section, the American Bar Association, and the Michigan Bar Association.

Mission Statement

The Law Firm of Gerald R. Lykins, P.L.C., is dedicated to assisting clients with legal issues in a compassionate, competent and professional manner. The Law Firm will strive to understand each client's particular legal issue prior to entering into an attorney-client relationship. Once an attorney-client relationship has been established, the Law Firm will work diligently towards resolving the client's legal issue in a manner which will satisfy the client's need both legally and financially. It is the primary goal of the Law Firm to keep clients informed of major issues and decisions concerning their individual cases.
