Law Firm Overview

Attorney Estrada grew up in the Tampa Bay area. He graduated from St. Petersburg Sr. High School. Following his six years of honorable service in the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman, he pursued his formal education. He graduated from St. Petersburg Jr. College (now St. Petersburg College) in 1981, and from the University of Florida in 1984. Later, his thirst for knowledge and desire for justice led him to law school, graduating from Stetson University College of Law, cum laude, in 1997.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Estrada spent twenty-one years in the medical field. In addition to being a naval hospital corpsman; his medical experience includes years as a nursing assistant, an EMT, a surgical technician, and a Physician Assistant. As a surgical technician, he gained five years of experience in military and civilian hospitals participating in all types of surgery including general, plastic, orthopedic, ENT, OB/GYN, neurosurgery, vascular, cardiac, thoracic, urologic, endoscopic, etc.

As a Physician Assistant, he spent twelve years providing medical care to a wide variety of patients from pediatrics to geriatrics in diverse settings, including private medical offices, medical clinics, hospitals, emergency rooms, nursing homes, and even a State prison! Mr. Estrada also ordered diagnostic testing, prescribed medications, and performed in-office minor surgical procedures. He is still licensed as a Physician Assistant by the Florida Board of Medicine. Mr. Estrada is also nationally certified as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission for the Certification of Physician Assistants.

Mr. Estrada became an attorney in 1997. He practices in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, medical negligence, and civil litigation. Attorney Estrada is admitted to practice law in State, and Federal Courts. He has lectured on the topic of medical malpractice on many occasions.

He is a member of the Florida Bar, Hillsborough County Bar Association, Tampa Bay Hispanic Bar Association, Florida Justice Academy, American Academy for Justice, Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the League of United Latin American Citizens.
