The law firm of Figueroa & Jackson, LLC has over 15 years of combined legal experience. Since its inception, the firm has focused its practice on representing individuals and businesses in a wide range of legal matters including: family law, bankruptcy law, personal injury, complex civil litigation, and probate matters.

Figueroa & Jackson, LLC has adopted a team approach to the practice of law. Judges and other lawyers refer many legal matters to the law firm of Figueroa & Jackson because they recognize the dedication and compassion we have for clients and our willingness to go the extra mile for these clients.

Figueroa & Jackson, LLC also dedicates substantial time and effort to various professional and charitable pursuits. Additionally, our firm gives back to the community through volunteerism and donations.

Attorney Michele Figueroa and Attorney Tamara Jackson are both graduates of Historically Black Colleges, which are Oakwood College in Huntsville, Alabama and Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia, respectively.

Being from the Midwest, yet educated in the South, both attorneys have experienced a diverse work environment. Both attorneys attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School where they participated in a number of legal clinics, which were aimed at helping low-income and other disadvantaged individuals. Additionally, attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison has taught both attorneys how to have a deep appreciation and respect of the law. Moreover, the attorneys received a top-notch education and learned how to zealously advocate on behalf of their clients.

Ms. Figueroa saw a need for quality representation in the community and decided to create her own law firm in January 2000. Shortly, thereafter in November 2001, Ms. Jackson and Ms. Figueroa seeing the need to give back and support the community joined forces and established the law firm of Figueroa & Jackson, LLC. Figueroa & Jackson, LLC is located at 2051 W. Wisconsin Avneue in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The law firm specializes in bankruptcy, personal injury, probate, criminal misdemeanors and family law, including divorce, child custody disputes, paternity actions and child support modifications.

The firm has built up a reputation of being in the community and for the community. The law firm is dedicated to providing quality legal representation for every individual, no matter what their financial circumstances may be. The firm has also represented several individuals free of charge.
