Law Firm Overview

John L. Quigley, Jr. limits his practice to Family Law in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Family law includes divorce, child custody (both intra-state and inter-state), child support, paternity, premarital/marital agreements, adoption, bankruptcy, and mediation.

I have concentrated my practice in Family Law for most of my professional career. I am keenly sensitive to the range of emotions associated with family law matters. I take pride in always making time to listen to the Client, understanding the individual's needs and desires and working with the Client toward the most satisfactory resolution.

As a general rule I will explore settlement options which may be beneficial to the Client so as to resolve without necessity of trial. This is often a more cost effective solution and avoids the emotional challenges associated with Court. In the event that trial is necessary, I offer studious preparation and zealous advocacy on behalf of my Client.
