Law Firm Overview

Margrett Skinner was born in Georgia, but moved to Chicago with her parents as a child. She worked for a large law firm in Chicago for fourteen years. She then went to law law school in Chicago and completed her law school career at Emory University.

She practiced in Atlanta for eleven years and moved to Macon, GA in 1997.

Her practice has always been in the areas of family law, divorce, custody, legitimation, child support; personal injury and probate matters. Up until 2005 she also practiced in the area of bankruptcy law.

She is also a trained mediator and mediates family law and probate matters.

Although she does not do cases for legal services she does do sliding scale cases for clients as a child's welfare is always her first concern.
