At the Law Office of Thomas E. Weaver, we are not a general practice law firm providing services in a wide range of legal areas. We dedicate our skills and resources exclusively to the practice of criminal defense, and criminal appeals.

However, within these focused practice areas, we offer a full range of services and experienced, quality legal representation to families and individuals throughout the counties of Kitsap, Jefferson, Mason, Pierce, and Tacoma.

In addition to our attorneys' legal knowledge, experience, and dedication to specific areas of the law, our firm also understands that the work we provide will affect the lives of our clients long after the cases themselves have been resolved. With that in mind, we work to protect the long-term interests of each person we represent as if our own futures depended on it too.

Bremerton lawyer, Thomas E. Weaver opened the doors to this firm as a solo practitioner in 2005. Prior to this and after receiving his Juris Doctorate from the University of Seattle's School of Law in 1992, he spent 12 years providing criminal defense to clients throughout the state of Washington for other law firms.

He has handled all types of criminal cases and has been the attorney of record in nearly 200 reported appellate decisions. And, due to his experience with criminal defense at all levels, Mr. Weaver was recently certified by the Washington Supreme Court and the Capital Qualifications Committee to handle both trials and appeals for those facing the death penalty. In addition, as a member of the Board of Governors of the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Mr. Weaver has been asked several times to testify before the Washington legislature about pending legislation involving criminal matters.

The attorneys on this list must meet strict guidelines for qualification, demonstrate the proficiency and commitment to quality representation that is appropriate to a capital case, and continue to demonstrate aptitude in the legal developments surrounding capital punishment through training or experience.

Today, just a short time since its inception, the Law Office of Thomas E. Weaver has grown to include a second criminal defense lawyer in Thomas McAllister.
