Kieth Rieger has focused in the area of matrimonial law for more than three decades. In that time, he has handled a number of challenging and complex matters, including several significant equitable distribution and interstate custody disputes. Mr. Rieger even set legal precedent in a landmark custody case involving the rights of a non-biological father.
Mr. Rieger is joined at the firm by his partner Michael Fried. For nearly twenty years, Mr. Fried has exclusively practiced matrimonial law . Mr. Fried has participated in numerous hearings and trials in Nassau, Suffolk and Kings Counties, all pertaining to custody, equitable distribution, child support and maintenance.
In March 2014, Mr. Fried was selected as a "barrister" to the exclusive New York Family Law American Inn of Court.
In 2012 Joshua Rieger joined Rieger & Fried, LLP as an associate attorney and has since solely practiced matrimonial law. Mr. Rieger handles all aspects of matrimonial litigation, from uncontested divorces to highly litigated complex custody and financial matters. He is also a mediator.
In October 2014, Joshua Rieger was selected as a New York Metro Super Lawyer "Rising Star."
