Law Firm Overview

After practicing for eighteen years at Carlock, Copeland, Semler & Stair, LLP in downtown Atlanta, primarily representing corporations and insurance companies, Doug opened his own practice in July, 2003 in Peachtree City. Although still representing a few select corporate clients, including The Kroger Co., Doug started his practice for the opportunity to represent individuals who have been seriously injured or damaged by the negligent or wrongful conduct of others in a variety of settings, including auto and truck collisions, dangerous or negligently maintained premises, defective products and medical or pharmacy malpractice. However, as an avid bicyclist, Doug has a special passion for representing cyclists who have been injured in cycling accidents. His practical experience gives Doug a unique perspective on the rights of cyclists, rights which are too often ignored by the motoring public. As a fellow cyclist, he has the background to best convey the full extent of damages, both physical and emotional, stemming from a cycling accident. Regardless of the type of case, Doug offers a complimentary initial consultation and, with an office in Peachtree City, he has easy access to all the courts in central and north Georgia.
