Brian F. Curley, J.D., LL.M.

Summary
Law Firm Overview
"The life of the law has not been logic; it has been experience."
~ Oliver Wendell Holmes, United States Supreme Court Justice
The counterpart to a qualified advocate, is an experienced advocate. In the history of western civilization, the most effective advocates have been those whose life experiences gave them insight into the human condition. From Cicero to Clarence Darrow to Gerry Spence, effective advocacy has always been grounded in real-life experiences. At its core, a trial attorney is a communicator, charged with communicating the logic and emotion of a client’s cause to a judge or jury.
Mr. Curley's real-life experiences outside the courtroom combined with his qualifications inside the courtroom gives him the down to earth ability to present both the logic and emotion of a case in a manner that will appeal to the mind and the heart of a judge or jury.
Instead of taking the traditional route of going to law-school directly from college, Mr. Curley worked for several years in the investment industry. Mr. Curley worked full-time while attending law school in the high pressure business of brokering insurance and investments. Mr. Curley also worked full-time as a litigation attorney. He knows well the pressures of hard work while attaining the prestigious LL.M. in Trial Advocacy from the Temple University School Of Law, long hours, and the rewards of self made success.
Mr. Curley has published articles used by other litigation attorneys and judges as reference points on particular points of law. Mr. Curley also helps train the next generation of trial attorneys through his participation as an instructor in trial seminars and programs, as well as a judge in national and regional law-school trial competitions.
