In 2001, Edward K. Pritchard, III, formed The Pritchard Law Firm, Inc. Prior to forming his new firm, Mr. Pritchard was a partner with one of the largest firms in South Carolina, Sinkler & Boyd, which has now merged with another firm to create Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd. The Pritchard Law Firm, Inc., specialized in insurance bad faith litigation, extra contractual insurance claims, insurance coverage, commercial and business litigation, products liability, and zoning, planning and land use. In 2006, Edward Pritchard’s brother, Thomas B. Pritchard, and James H. Elliott, Jr., left their positions as partners with one of Charleston’s oldest and most respected firms, Barnwell Whaley Patterson & Helms, LLC, to merge with Edward Pritchard’s firm to form Pritchard & Elliott, Attorneys And Counselors At Law, LLC. Thomas Pritchard and James Elliott brought to the newly created firm of Pritchard & Elliott an extensive background in litigation, insurance law, construction law, products liability, and professional liability law.

Pritchard & Elliott, like its founding members, is innovative in its approach, vision, and initiative. The firm is dedicated to providing its clientele with superior legal services. Although the firm is new, its attorneys are experienced and are the vanguard of the legal community.
