Maximilian M. Prusak and Joseph E. Winne first began practicing together in 1978 at the firm of Goldsworthy, Fifield & Prusak. In 1980 they formed a law firm called Nicol, Newell, Prusak & Winne, where they were principals until 1983 when they formed a professional corporation called Prusak & Winne, Ltd. On January 1, 1990, William C. Wombacher joined the firm as a principal, at which time the firm name was changed to Prusak, Winne & Wombacher, Ltd. Mr. Wombacher had previously been a partner in the firm of Littler, Renner, Howard & Wombacher. Thomas P. Higgins joined the firm in August of 1990.
